Former WRDE News Anchor Found Dead in West Palm Beach Home

(WEST PALM BEACH, Fl.) - Former WRDE anchor and longtime news anchor Roy Hobbs has died.

Hobbs was a veteran news anchor for Fox 5 in Atlanta prior to coming on board to WRDE in 2014 where he served the Delmarva community for about a year.

He later moved to West Palm Beach, Fl., that's where local discovered Hobb's body in his apartment. Police said Hobb's died sometime between Feb. 14 - 17.

Cause of death has not yet been revealed but police do say they don't suspect foul play.

Hobb's had struggled with heart problems and recently had stints surgically installed.

Hobbs leaves behind his wife and two children.

He was 64.
