(Wilmington, Del) After a four-month drop, prices at the pump have been on the rise for nearly four weeks since January 27. Friday's national average price of $2.28 per gallon is four cents more than one week ago and 23 cents more than one month ago. Consumers are still saving $1.10 per gallon at the pump in comparison to last year, a spread that has slowly started to narrow after widening to as much as $1.25 per gallon on January 26. The average price of a gallon of regular in Delaware is $2.30. Last week it was $2.19, six months ago it was $3.45 a gallon.
