Georgetown Ammo Heist Leads to Four Arrests

(GEORGETOWN, Del.)- Police have arrested four suspects, including three teenage boys, for robbing a Wal-Mart and getting away with a cart-load of ammunition in Georgetown.

According to the police report, officers responded to a report of stolen of air-soft guns and pellets.

Police identified Jerome Cannon, 23, of Bridgeville, who is pictured, and three teenagers from Bridgeville and Georgetown as the suspects. The four suspects face shoplifting and conspiracy charges.

During the pursuit, one of the four suspects carried a one-year-old baby as he tried to run away while crossing a ditch. He faces an additional charge for endangering the welfare of a child. Officers recovered the stolen guns and ammunition during the arrests.
