(DOVER, Del.) - The Dover Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 100 Block of Willis Road on Sunday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., four to five suspects entered a residence and threatened three occupants with handguns. A 49-year-old male was assaulted and suffered a minor laceration to his forehead during the incident. The suspects fled the home with an undisclosed amount of cash from the residence. The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for treatment of his injury.
Police said this incident occurred prior to the second home invasion in the same block of Willis Road. Updated information has been added to the release that was issued prior to this incident.
