IRSD Parents Want Cell Phone Policy Changed

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.- The Indian River School District is hosting a number of meetings across the county ahead of its third referendum in the past year.

On January 22nd at Sussex Central High School, Wednesday January 29th at Indian River High School and Monday February 3rd at Lord Baltimore Elementary, the district's informational meetings will highlight the major capital improvement referendum. IRSD is asking taxpayers to help fund a new Sussex Central High School, allowing other buildings to be re-purposed for new elementary and middle schools. All the meetings start at 7 p.m.

The district is also hosting a special meeting for senior voters on January 29th at 9 a.m. at Sussex Central High School. This meeting will explain the various tax assistance programs available to seniors. 

The referendum is scheduled for February 13th.
