(Georgetown, Del) - A Laurel man charged with murdering his mother has been found not guilty by reason of insanity. Dukinson Appolon, 25 of Laurel was arrested in January of 2016 and charged with murdering his 61 year old mother, Yolande Georges of Laurel. According to Delaware State Police Georges was killed with a machete. Appolon was found not guilty. According to medical experts, he was mentally unfit and has been committed to the Delaware Psychiatric Center south of Wilmington.
