(GEORGETOWN, Del.)- Police say a 45-year-old bridgeville man faces charges for allegedly soliciting sex for his mother.
The Georgetown Police arrested 45-year-old Bryan P. Willoughby of Bridgeville for an incident that occurred on March on North Bedford Street.
Police were contacted by a 23-year-old male victim in reference to a subject that had touched him in a sexual manner.
The victim advised police that he had accepted a ride from Willoughby in the area of Royal Farms just before 2 p.m. on Monday.
Willoughby advised the victim his name was Steve at that time. The victim advised that Willoughby offered to drive him to a local bus stop.
A conversation took place between the victim and Willoughby about the victim giving Willoughby money for gas and the two exchanged phone numbers for this purpose.
During the ride, Willoughby suddenly offered to perform sexual acts on the victim and grabbed the victim's genitals while doing so.
The victim stated no and got out of the vehicle. Once he left the area, Willoughby started sending the victim text messages soliciting the victim to accept money in exchange for allowing Willoughby to perform sexual acts on him. Willoughby also offered to pay the victim to perform sexual acts on Willoughby's mother.
Police were advised by the victim that Willoughby was operating a maroon Ford Taurus.
Police observed a maroon Ford Taurus matching the victim's description in the parking lot of the Georgetown Royal Farms on March 4th.
A registration check was done on the owner and the vehicle came back to Willoughby. Willoughby's driver's license photo also fit the description that was provided by the victim.
A photo line-up was created and Willoughby's photo was positively identified by the victim. An arrest warrant was then created and police took Willoughby into custody at his residence.
Willoughby was questioned about the incident and confessed to the actions that were described by the victim.
Willoughby was charged with unlawful sexual contact, criminal solicitation, offensive touching and sexual harassment; he was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $3500.00 secured bond and a no contact order with the victim.
