(Dover, Del) - A Smyrna man has been charged with vehicular homicide after he ran over a woman in Dover. It happened early Wednesday morning, July 4, 2018, when Gerald Medkeff was in a rear alley of New Castle Avenue. He was in the area to buy drugs when several people became disorderly. He backed up into a woman, 40-year-old Moneca Saunders. After striking her, he ran over her twice trying to escape. The woman was freed by firefighters but died at the hospital.
