(LEWES, Del.) - McDonald's announced Thursday Jim Schaffer has been awarded the 2015 National Outstanding Operations Contributor Award. Representatives say as Director of Operations for The Meoli Companies family of brands, Schaffer exhibited the highest standards of fairness, honesty, integrity and unmatched customer service during his time within the McDonald's® system.
The Outstanding Operations Contributor Award is an honor reserved for those who have played a key role in perfecting brand operations by achieving great business results, demonstrating strong leadership and championing people practices. In his role as Director of Operations, Schaffer has proven his strong leadership talents while always keeping his focus on delivering on the McDonald's brand promise.
"Jim leads by influence and plays a positive role in the lives of others," said Mike Meoli, McDonald's Restaurants of Eastern Shore Owner/Operator. "With his collaborative style, and unique way of inspiring employees and shaping business perspectives, Jim is an unmatched asset within our organization."
Jim is key in driving business results within the McDonald's Restaurants of Eastern Shore Co-op and throughout the Baltimore Washington Region. He recognizes the importance to giving back and is leading several community involvement activities in the neighborhoods for which his restaurants operate.
