A 36-year-old Milford man was arrested in connection with three separate incidents on Thursday.
Joseph C. Bare was charged with Theft by False Pretense Under $1500 (2 counts), Receiving Stolen Property Under $1500 (2 counts), Selling Stolen Property Under $1500 (2 counts), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Offensive Touching, Escape 3rd Degree and Resisting Arrest.
Bare allegedly kicked an 8-year-old boy sometime between June and July 2014. The boy did not suffer any injuries in the incident. Bare attempted to elude police after a warrant for his arrest was obtained.
He was also being investigated for incident regarding stolen vehicles being sold at a scrap yard.
While being investigated on the aforementioned incidents, Bare tried to escape officer's custody when being placed in a patrol car. The officer tasered Bare after a brief foot chase. He was arraigned and committed to SCI with a $7,000 cash bond.
