It has been over a month since a famed Chincoteague pony, Dreamer's Faith, was stolen. Folks have rallied together to search for the pony, but Thursday morning sad news rocks Accomack County. The Chincoteague Police Department has confirmed Dreamer's Faith has been found dead.
Its remains were found by a lawn maintenance contractor on the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company carnival grounds, Oct. 14th.
Authorities were able to positively identified the pony with the help of a microchip. Foul play has been ruled out.
