(PRINCESS ANNE, Md.)- A death investigation is underway after a NASA research scientist was found dead a day after her family reported her missing.
Princess Anne Police say Tiffany Moisan's family reported her missing on Saturday, June 4. On Sunday, that's when police say a friend of the family noticed Moisan's car in the Food Lion parking lot off Brittingham Lane. Shortly after, Moisan's body was discovered in the wooded area behind the grocery store.
Moisan's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Although there were no apparent signs of foul play, this incident remains under investigation pending results from the autopsy.
