(Fruitland, Md)- Maryland State Police say slippery roads on the Salisbury Bypass near Fruitland caused three vehicle crashes, including one that involved an Eastern Correctional Institution van.
Police tell WRDE, four people were inside the van at the time of the crash: two inmates and two officers. Troopers says all four were treated at Peninsula Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
The accidents were reported around 7 a.m Friday.
The van rolled over and the names of those involved has not yet been released.
