(Bridgeville, Del) Delaware State Police are investigating a murder Thursday afternoon north of Bridgeville. Police were called to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford around 1:41 pm reporting a man had been dropped off by private vehicle. The man has been shot, died at the hospital from his injuries. The body was that of an 18 year from Greenwood. The shooting happened north of Bridgeville at the intersection of Newton and Adams Roads.
Newton Road at the intersection of Adams Road was closed for approximately one hour while Troopers secured and investigated the scene. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
This incident continues to remain under investigation by the homicide unit.
