REHOBOTH BEACH, DE — SmashMouth Burger is adding a new permanent location for its food truck near the Big Chill Surf Cantina.
They will replace the Taco Reho truck. Taco Reho opened its doors in the former Burger King on Nov. 1.
"When Taco Reho's food truck kinda left, they were our number one choice for bringing someone else in. This is was something we'd thought about for a couple of months since we knew the taco reho food truck was leaving, and we're excited to have them here," Matt Garbutt said.

"People are getting away from brick and mortar, especially now after the pandemic. i think now, restaurants are going in a different direction," Jamie Parsons, owner said.
Agave Mexican Restaurant is another restaurant moving to Rehoboth. Agave has a restaurant in Lewes, but had a soft opening on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at what was the Jake's Seafood building.
The Delaware Restaurant Association said back in September that 2021 has been a difficult year for restaurants.
"Restaurant operators are trying to meet consumer demand that exceeds 2019 with 6,000 fewer workers and skyrocketing labor and commodity prices," Carrie Leishman, President & CEO of the Delaware Restaurant Association (DRA) said.
