(NEWARK, Del.)- Police are investigating an armed robbery on Tyre Avenue near Main Street in Newark.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon around 5:00 p.m.
Authorities say the suspect ran toward Main Street. Officers are now combing through the surrounding area. The suspect is armed and dangerous, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 25-35 years old, beard, black t-shirt and jean shorts.
