Cody joined the WRDE team in July of 2020 as a reporter and became the producer of WRDE's 5 p.m. newscast in early 2023. He graduated from Rowan University in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a certificate of undergraduate study in Sports Media.
After college, Cody worked in freelance positions with TAPInto as a sports reporter. He also was the voice of The College of New Jersey Ice Hockey for two seasons and for home games with Philadelphia Hockey Club Premier of the USPHL. In his time with TCNJ, Cody called two Colonial States College Hockey Conference tournaments and an ACHA Southeast Regional tournament.
Cody is an avid Yankees, Jets, and Devils fan and loves watching games in his spare time. Because he is from New Jersey, his allegiance lies with those teams.
