We Salute William Edward Jones. Staff Sergeant William Edward Jones, a Vietnam Veteran originally from Millsboro, Delaware, demonstrated extraordinary bravery and dedication during his service. Serving with the 101st Airborne Division, notably in the "Geronimo" 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, Jones's commitment was steadfast. On his second tour in Vietnam, he tragically fell to enemy fire on July 14, 1970, after only 26 days in-country.
