GEORGETOWN, Del.- Lisa Hudson Briggs and Kelly Kline will retain their seats on the Indian River School Board, winning the two seats in District 1, according to unofficial results.
Briggs received 87 votes, Kelly Kline earned 64 votes, and Dereck Booth, received 31 votes.
The winning candidates will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2029.
No elections were needed for Nominating Districts 2 and 4. Jerry Peden, Jr. was the sole candidate in District 2 after Patricia Hall withdrew in March. Michelle F. Parsons ran unopposed in District 4.
The Cape Henlopen School District also participated in school board elections Tuesday evening, with two positions up for vote.
