SEAFORD, Del. -The Woodland Ferry is closed for operations until further notice, according to a Delaware Department of Transportation travel alert.
The closure affects Woodland Ferry Road in Sussex County. DelDOT is advising drivers to seek an alternate route while the ferry remains out of service.
The special travel alert was last updated at 10:31 p.m. Aug. 13. No estimated time for the ferry to reopen was provided.
