No Babies Wet Behind Collecting Thousands of Diapers for Local Babies

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - No Babies Wet Behind is an annual diaper drive that brings the Cape community together to give back to local babies in need. About 30,000 diapers were collected by Thursday morning.

Lisa Prestipino helped start the drive to help founder of La Esperanza Sister Rosa provide mothers with diapers. Each year donations are stuffed inside of a bus outside of Apple Electric.

5,000 diapers were collected during the first drive. 32,000 were collected in 2019. This year Prestipino is hoping for 50,000 diapers.

Project Kudos is joining the drive this year.  Diapers will be stuffed inside of its bus and for every sticker filled out on the outside of it, Schell ]Brothers will donate $1 to go towards purchasing even more diapers.

"We not only supporting Sister Rosa, we do Pearl House, Harry K's Baby Pantry, La Red, La Esperanza, Sussex Pregnancy Center, and local baby pantries," says Prestipino.

The drive runs through February 28th.  Diapers can be dropped off at Apple Electric or delivered through Amazon.
