(LEWES, Del.)- It's that time again - parking meters in the City go into effect on Sunday, May 1. Meter hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The parking rate is $1 an hour except on Lewes Beach, which is $1.50/hour.
Payment for all meters may be made by change deposited in the meter or by using the Parkmobile app on a smart phone (instructions on how to sign up for the app can be found at us.parkmobile.com).
Payment by credit card can be made at the following parking lots: Beach 1 and 2; Canalfront Park; 1812 Park; and the Third Street lot.
Parking is free at the City's parking lots located on Schley Avenue and Otis Smith Park (next to the Daily Market).
