(SEAFORD, Del.)- Seaford Volunteer Fire Department is reporting a car explosion that has sent one victim to the hospital.
It was reported around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Seaford Fire, EMS, and Sussex County Paramedics were alerted to the Clearbrooke Estates near Valley Run in Seaford. Once on arrival, crews reported a vehicle on fire with an exposure to the residence.
Firefighters extinguished the car fire with only minimal damage to the siding of the residence, according to authorities.
Victim was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Incident is currently under investigation by Fire Marshall's office.
