Progress Made on Unleash Dog Park

(LEWES, Del.) - The lot cleared in Lewes does not look like a dog park yet. However, Tom McGlore tells WRDE News soon, it will.

He said the Unleashed Dogpark Non-profit started as a few neighbors who were passionate about their pets. They all noticed one problem. There was no place for their dogs to run and play.

"There's really no place for dogs to go without a leash," McGlore said. "We started working very diligently with with the city of Lewes to get the approval to start on a dog park."
