Project Kudos Bus Delivers Food to Indian River School District Families

REHOBOTH, Del - With many people struggling to feed their families amid the COVID-19 pandemic, local home-builder, Schell Brothers is working to assist the community through their Project Kudos initiative.

Partnering with the Indian River School District, the company is delivering meals to those in need. Schell Brothers has also partnered with local businesses to carry out the project.

“Mountaire has graciously donated chicken as well so they’ll be getting frozen chicken. We bought milk from Lewes Dairy so they’ll be getting fresh milk," said Alyssa Titus of Schell Brothers.

In addition to food and toilet paper the care packages included pencils, coloring books, and other materials to keep kids engaged while they are out of school.

“This is such a challenging time for parents and kids," said Titus.

The company is working to carry out more deliveries in different communities in the coming weeks.

Schell Brothers says they are still looking for non-perishable donations from community members.
