(REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.)- More than 40 people came to the YMCA in Rehoboth Beach for a six hour long yoga retreat. It offered everything from beginners yoga to Tai Chi."
"it's spiritual, emotional, and physical," said Sue O'Brien, participant.
The annual yoga retreat is now in its third year. Today's attendance was the best yet.
"So the retreat is good for long time students or someone who's brand new to yoga," said Suzette Chambers-Marrin, health enhancement coordinator, Rehoboth Beach YMCA.
The Retreat began at 10 a.m. Participants rotated between hour long classes throughout the day.
"We get to experience different forms of yoga, different types of meditation," said O'Briend. "Some of us are meditators, some of us are new to it and there's all different kinds."
For those interested in participating in the retreat next year, Chambers-Marrin hopes to expand the program.
"Next year I would love to expand it to and make it an overnighter at Camp Tockwogh which is on the Chesapeake in Maryland and open it up to our sister branches," said Chambers-Marrin
