LEWES, Del. The latest messaging campaign from the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice, presents a clear and succinct message decrying bigotry and hatred standing tall alongside Route 1. It's purpose: to incite community dialogue and action surrounding issues plaguing the nation.

Charlotte King, Chair of the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice, says the organization wanted to share the message that "Racism Hurts Everyone" in a way that was impactful and could touch as many people as possible. “Every traveler down to our beaches can see," she said, noting that a billboard, especially where this one stands, was an ideal way to reach the masses. "A clear message that everyone needs to hear. So that we can change the public narrative," King continued.
