The Lewes to Georgetown Trail will temporarily close next week to apply herbicides. DelDOT says the closure is to ensure safe and effective vegetation control. The application will stretch from Cool Spring Road to Savannah Road in Lewes.

Delaware State Police have arrested Timmarus Perry, 24-years-old, for felony assault and gun charges following a shooting near Milton.

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting near Milton on July 14, where a 27-year-old Laurel man was critically injured after being shot while driving,  authorities have identified 24-year-old Timmarus Perry of Milton as the suspect and are seeking information on his whereabouts.

144 single family homes are about to be built in the new Schell Brothers "Miralon"  community. This over 70-acre property is not the first spot to get new homes in the small town, but is drawing concerns from neighbors on Cool Spring Road.
