DNREC is assessing water infrastructure in 45 manufactured home communities in Sussex County to identify needs and guide future improvements, aiming to protect public health and the environment, as part of a broader statewide effort.
The Lewes Board of Public Works is clarifying elevated lead results from routine drinking water compliance testing. Property owners with exceedances were notified within 24 hours of BPW receiving the results.
On Wednesday the Delaware State Senate took what they hope will be the next step towards protecting people from "forever chemicals" like PFAS. Senate Bill 72 has now passed through the Senate and has been assigned to the Health and Human Development Committee in the House.
