U.S. President Donald Trump says the war in Iran is “very close to over” in clips of an interview set to air Wednesday. Pakistan has said it is working to help the U.S. and Iran negotiate an end to the war. Trump earlier said a second round of talks with Iran could happen over next two days. Late Tuesday, the U.S. military said its blockade on Iranian ports had been fully implemented and it had halted all sea trade going in and out of Iran. Talks in Washington between Lebanon and Israel have been described as constructive.
