Randon Wilkerson, the man convicted in the 2021 murder of Delmar Corporal Keith Heacook, was sentenced to two life sentences Friday morning in Sussex County Superior Court for two counts of first degree murder.
Senate Bill 99 disallows municipalities from requiring that landlords evict tenants based on their involvement in the justice system. If passed, landlords will still have the ability to choose to evict a tenant for criminal activity or other lease violations. This bill just prevents making those evictions mandatory.
