On May 1, the paid parking season began in the city of Lewes. In order to park in the downtown area or at the Lewes Beaches, you must pay at the meters or through the Park Mobile App. Many people in the area have expressed their frustration over trying to figure out the meters or the app.

In Rehoboth Beach, the subject of parking fees is stirring up quite the debate once again. Currently, parking your car at a meter will set you back $3 per hour.

The city of Rehoboth says they made a mistake when calculating the total revenue made in parking for this summer. The city says they made about 20,000 dollars more in parking than last summer.
