A massive new retail development is being proposed along Route 24 in Sussex County that could bring three major national retailers—Costco, Target, and Whole Foods Market—to the Rehoboth Beach area.

The closures are scheduled on Route 24 from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday to allow for traffic signal upgrades.
A new traffic signal become active at Route 24 and Mulberry Knoll Road on July 6. Some neighbors say this new stop light will help make traffic flow smoother, but not everyone is convinced.
