Thirteen music teachers from the Cape Henlopen School District performed a special recital Thursday night with a meaningful cause: raising funds to support their student musicians.
Students from throughout Sussex County gathered Thursday night for the Sussex County Honors Band concert. The concert was held at Sussex Central High School to a packed auditorium.
A Milford High School Band Director was honored today as the auditorium was dedicated in his name.
In order to perform at the conference, institutions that include K-12 schools, colleges, military ensembles, and more must apply about one year ahead of time for a competitive selection process.
