Three acclaimed authors, Dolen Perkins-Valdez, Margalit Fox and Fara Dabhoiwala, will headline the 2025 History Book Festival in Lewes on Sept. 27. Their free presentations explore the legacy of freed people, the rise of a crime boss and the origins of free speech.
Four Sussex Academy students were recognized for their entries into a New York Times writing contest. Barbara Carneiro-Duarte, Skyleigh Passwaters, Aarna Sharda and Alexander Horner were among the top 15 percent of over 12,000 submissions.
