The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has released the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Maryland Offshore Wind Project. If approved, the project could generate enough power for up to 770,000 homes on the Delmarva Peninsula. The proposal by US Wind, Inc. includes up to 121 turbines and is open for public comment until November 20, 2023, with public meetings scheduled in Maryland and Delaware during late October.
