On Wednesday the Delaware State Senate took what they hope will be the next step towards protecting people from "forever chemicals" like PFAS. Senate Bill 72 has now passed through the Senate and has been assigned to the Health and Human Development Committee in the House.
On Thursday Perdue AgriBusiness gave an update on its well water testing and treatment efforts near its Zion Church Road facility, where forever chemicals known as PFAS have been found.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center in Salisbury.
Workers at Perdue AgriBusiness in Salisbury have announced plans to unionize with United Food & Commercial Workers Local 27 Union.
