...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL SUSSEX COUNTY...

At 815 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes
were located along a line extending from near Henlopen Acres to near
Millville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Henlopen Acres, Long Neck, and Dewey Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT
FOR SUSSEX COUNTY...

At 811 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lewes to Dagsboro to Delmar, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Lewes, Milton, Selbyville,
Delmar, Dagsboro, Millville, Ellendale, Henlopen Acres, Gumboro, Cape
Henlopen State Park, Sycamore, Long Neck, Ocean View, Blades,
Frankford, and South Bethany.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southern
Delaware...and eastern Maryland.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

* Special Marine Warning for...
Delaware Bay...
Coastal and outer waters from Great Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island
DE...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 723 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 7 nm west of
Bowers Beach to 12 nm west of Slaughter Beach to 18 nm east of
Miles River, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown Shoal Light, Fenwick Island,
Buoy 4fb, Buoy 3fb, Slaughter Beach, Cape Henlopen, East Point,

City Reef, Indian River Inlet Bridge, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump,
