The Ocean Pines community, in collaboration with the Maryland Coastal Bays Program, will host the Fourth Annual Marine Debris Plunder on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event aims to clean up marine debris from local bays, beaches and streets.
La Esperanza, a multiservice nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Latino and immigrant communities in Sussex County, has achieved a significant milestone by having 44 individuals become U.S. citizens this year, the highest number in a decade.
