The legislation now awaits consideration by Gov. Matt Meyer and is expected to be signed into law during a ceremony near the bypass.
Senate Bill 349, introduced in the Delaware General Assembly, would rename the Millsboro Bypass as the “Senator Richard S. Cordrey Bypass” in honor of the former senator’s decades of public service and contributions to Delaware’s fiscal and economic stability.
