Authorities in Shreveport, Louisiana, say a gunman killed eight children in domestic-related shootings at different two homes. The children killed range in age from 1 to about 14 years old. Shreveport Police spokesperson Chris Bordelon says a total of 10 people were shot. Police say the gunman died after a chase with officers who fired at the suspect. They say the suspect stole a car while leaving the scene of the shootings. The mayor of Shreveport calls it a tragic situation, maybe the worst the city has ever seen.
