As summer nears, diamondback terrapins are on the move. Operation Terrapin Rescue, a state-supported volunteer program, is asking for help again from the public to safely guide these native turtles to reach their nesting grounds.

The Maryland Coastal Bays Program is offering free turtle nest protection covers for residents who have witnessed a turtle laying eggs on their property and are interested in protecting the nest from predication.
Seaford native Darnell Savage made the play that essentially sent the Green Bay Packers to the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs. With Green Bay leading 20-0 against the Cowboys late in the second quarter, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott threw a pass over the middle. Savage stepped in front of it for the interception and then raced 64 yards into the endzone for a touchdown and 27-0 Packer lead.
