More than 100 University of Delaware students rallied Thursday to support sexual assault survivors and call for stronger prevention measures, citing 51 reported campus cases in 2024 and limited victim advocacy resources.
The reaction to the "Cornell 7" made its way to the University of Delaware on Thursday afternoon.

Campus police and Dover Police are investigating a shooting at Delaware State University. Police said the victim was not a DSU student and injuries were not life-threatening.
"There was no basis to remove the case," said District Court Judge Richard Andrews. An attempt by Cabela's to move an investigation into its hands-off shoplifting approach to federal court has been dismissed. The case centered around reports that 500,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen from the store's Newark location in less than a year.
