Darnell Jenkins, a 36-year-old man from Salisbury, has been sentenced to life in prison plus 65 years. Jenkins was convicted in August on two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, Rape in the Second Degree, two counts of Attempted Rape in the Second Degree, and three counts of Sexual Offense in the Third Degree.

Wicomico Child Advocacy Center investigators have taken Reginald Harrison Shockley, 66-year-old, of Parsonsburg, into custody on charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor.
Nicole Bochenek, 46, of Mardela Springs, was sentenced to 55 years in prison for child abuse and assault. The sentencing was handed down by Judge S. James Sarbanes of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County on May 24.
Tyler Lecates, a 22-year-old from Millsboro, Delaware, was sentenced on Dec. 21 to 20 years in prison for sexual abuse of a child and second-degree rape, officials said.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says it has arrested a 12-year-old for the murder of a two-year-old.
