(Port Penn, Del) - Troopers are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at the Port Penn VFW in New Castle County.
The incident happened around 12:35 a.m. this morning, Sunday May 31, 2015, when a 43 year old male victim was found lying in the parking lot of the VFW located at 15 West Market Street suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso. The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
There is no suspect information at this time as the investigation is in the preliminary stages and on-going.
