LONG NECK, Del. - Delmarva Power confirmed there was a power outage in the Millsboro/Long Neck area, late Sunday afternoon.
According to a spokesperson, over 6,000 customers were impacted but power was restored within six minutes.
The company also said “thanks to newer technology” it was able to restore power quickly. The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
