DELMAR, Del. -- The Delmar Wildcats had no trouble in their season opener against John Dickinson earlier tonight; as they used a 21-point first quarter to steer their way to a 49-12 win.
Delmar treated their home crowd nicely, as they were in control right from first kick. A Brandon Turner twelve yard touchdown run put them up 7-0 just a few minutes in, and they never looked back.
Next up for Delmar is a date with the Delaware Military Academy next Friday at home, as they look to start the year 2-0.
