Cuba's flagship baseball team, Industriales, has debuted a jersey with a private sponsor's logo. This marks a significant shift in a country that long rejected professional sports and advertising. The Havana-based team recently wore jerseys featuring the logo of "A Granel," a Cuban fuel distribution company. The logo also appears on the outfield wall at their home stadium. This is the first time in the 65-year history of Cuba's National Baseball Series that a team has taken the field with a sponsor. Officials say the sponsorship will help improve conditions, providing essential equipment and logistics support.
