Molly Simpson is one of the top power hitters in the nation this year. Simpson is leading division III softball with 14 home runs, and hitting .472 at the plate. She is also the Capital Athletic Conference's player of the year.

Coach Knight said she pleased with her performance.

"Molly is on fire when she is at the plate,"said Knight. She is relaxed, and she is loving every minute of it and when you see a player enjoying every single minute of it, every single at bat and every single defensive play those are the ones you want on your team."

Easton graduate Paige Knussman said her ultimate goal is to capture a national championship for the Seagulls.

"That has been our focus every year. My freshman year was to get to Wisconsin, my sophomore year it was to get to Texas, last year was get to Salem and our same goal is to get back to Salem this year and win a national championship."
