(Sussex County,Del) -The new Rock Church is helping others with their program one home, one family.This non-profit was started in September with Vision Property Management.It is a rent to own program.
"People come to us and they fill out an application and they need to be working because if they do have an income then they will not succeed and then they come to us and we send their information to Vision Property management and they do the numbers," said Collins-Spiller. "Then we look at houses and we work with offices from Seaford, and Blades. Vision Property Managment buys it and takes all the risk and we match people up with houses."
They are now working on their third house. Their third one is in the bad neighborhood of Seaford. It was a former drug house. The house needs a lot of repairs.
"I have a dream for this house and I want to see this house warm and homey and with couches and bible studying going on, have soup and answer questions," said Collins-Spiller.
The house will be finished in about one year and Pastor Collins-Spiller said she wants to revitalize the bad neighborhood.
